I work in private practice providing Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from a private and peaceful therapy room in North London. I also work as a Locum Psychiatrist in the public sector.
The UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) is a regulatory body responsible for setting standards of good practice. I am registered and accredited with the UKCP and follow their code of ethics and good practice. I am a Member of IPSS ( Institute of Psychotherapy and Social Studies) and also a Member of the College for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis.
I have considerable experience working in Mental Health and Psychiatry in the NHS in a lead role as well as working in bereavement care and in prestigious Hospice. I have also worked in Addiction Psychiatry in the NHS.
I am on the Diversity Committee of the UKCP working on policy matters.
I am also an experienced Clinical Supervisor, Couple Therapist and also use a Relational, Psychoanalytic, Intercultural and Trauma Informed Care approach.
As a Medical Doctor I am fully registered with the General Medical Council and follow their Code of Ethics.
